Because of how the PS3 does it, you need the space for the downloaded files, and then you need the space for those files to be installed. In the end, it'll only take the 18 Gigs, but to get it on the system, you need 36. The disc version only needs 8.

When I had 4GB, the physical memory usage would always be at 95-98%, and I read online that GTA uses 5-7GB. So, I upgraded to 8GB, but when I'm playing, it only ever uses about 48-55%, which is around 3.9-4.1GB. How can I make GTA utilize more RAM, because the performance hasn't changed much at all from 4GB
